Autorin des historischen Kriminalromans Die falsche Reliquie und des historischen Romans Die letzte Priesterin (beide bei Ehrenwirth/Heyne). Zuletzt erschien bei dtv der historische Kriminalroman Hilgensee. Das besondere Interesse der Autorin gilt der Sprach- und Mythenforschung, der Archäologie und Geschichte.
